Veteran Museum Imatra Finland

The Veteran Museum in Imatra Finland was founded by lawyer, war veteran and sportsman Reino Ikävalko together with his wife Eila. The place are still the home of Eila Ikävalko with a strong patriotical atmosphere in all its rooms!

  • You`ll see forexample maps, war time objects, weapons and uniforms, which belonged to the Finnish, Soviet and German Armies. 
  • A Finnish General´s and a Soviet Admiral´s uniforms are displayed. Two war-time cannons are outside the museum. 
  • The museum located opposite to Imatra Valtiohotelli place from name Piponius House, a neo-classical building in central Imatrankoski.
